Steve Martin Tigris River

This scent rises with the early morning sun of a spring day like the genie of the lamp taking you on the flying carpet through the captivating stories of magical Baghdad, where a cool breeze fills your soul with the essence of orange blossom, palm pollens, musk and more, to land you back on the terrace of Golden Domes' palace inspired with another tale to add to the book of 1001 nights.

This river granted life to nature and gifted love to the town of secrets, affection and right wing of Mesopotamia.

The Abbasid era witnessed the evolution of essences that rippled across the world. "Bait Al-Hikma" (House of Wisdom) was a prominent university in the city that generated many scholars in various fields including: philosophy, astronomy, mathematics, medecine and chemistry. Al-Kindi (Al-Kindus 800-873) was one of the famous figures in various disciplines. He wrote "The Book of Chemistry" listing more than 100 recipes of essential fragrant oils using distillation processes.
