The Story
The usually calm residents of Tokyo were visible excited at the thought of the Hanami, the annual tradition of viewing of the cherry blossom. Late March, the city was alive with delight, hope and happiness for two important weeks, the ultimate party given by nature. She slowly walked the immaculately kept streets marvelling at the intense beauty of nature. Thousands of cotton-like trees filled each street, bursting with luminous, pink-toned flowers, refreshing the air with their subtle delicate scent. A symbol of life, albeit fleeting. Families and friends gathered in parks enjoying picnics celebrating this auspicious occasion, seated beneath the sophisticated canopy as the delicate flowers drop like pink snowflakes, caressing them in celebration. As she continued her walk, she reflected on Tokyo, a city revered for its technological advances, yet she had just experienced the most incredible display of tradition at peace with nature.

The sophisticated character of the cherry blossom is flavoured with notes of bergamot tea and rose to add freshness, while background musk and cotton accords pamper our skin.
